Preparing the sacred ground of the body, mind, womb and heart for a new baby is some of the most important work you will ever do.
FERTILITY SUPPORT & PRECONCEPTION PREPARATIONS
There are many practices of yoga that can be explored and employed to help boost fertility.
Particularly helpful are the restorative series of poses and working with the Deep Rest practice of Yoga Nidra.
Depending on your particular situation we can work together to devise a program of fertility yoga and self care to vitalise your reproductive system and ensure you're creating enough space in your body and life for a new baby.
Chaitanya also works closely with a Traditional Chinese Doctor which can be invaluable in restoring fertility.
It is recommended that you work with the yoga and self care practices for at least three cycles / months when working towards optimising your fertility. Often the imbalances that have led to reduced fertility have been created and maintained over long periods of time and also take time to dismantle.

Includes three, monthly 90 minute consultations, working with Holistic Pelvic Care TM practices, 3 hour long yoga for fertility sessions and a personalised program of yoga and self care support to help you enrich your fertility and prepare the sacred ground of your body for a baby. Extra yoga sessions and Chinese Medicine consults can be added at additional cost.
WOMB TEMPLE PREGNANCY PACKAGE
Price depending on frequency of classes. $90 for initial consult and $50 per private hour long class after that.
Weekly or fortnightly 1hour private yoga classes to help you progress with grace through your journey to new motherhood.
Specialised Yoga for Pregnancy can help you greatly in your journey towards being a new mum and the grand initiation that is birth. The gentle stretching, deep relaxation, calming chants and meditation of a pregnancy yoga practice can help you stay present and well throughout your pregnancy as well as help you prepare mentally, emotionally and physically for the possible marathon that is birth.
If you would like to explore yoga through your pregnancy, even if you're a beginner please be in touch. We can work together on a weekly or fortnightly basis as you shift and change through this special time.
Just as it takes time to prepare the fertile ground for pregnancy, and time to grow your special new best friend, it takes time to recover and readjust once your baby is born.
Post-natally mothers and babies are very open energetically - so sensitive and easily disturbed. It is important to take all care in bringing the mummy back together and nourishing the mother - baby bond. Practices that support this recovery are found in every ancient culture on the planet - it is well understood that this is a delicate time and that mama baby need special support at this time. Of course the new father is tired and integrating the big change that has happened - as are other family members. Practices like DEEP REST are deeply beneficial at this time.
As soon as the first few days, the mother can start working (so) gently with yoga to help the body come back together - starting just with breathwork and gentle pelvic floor work, moving in the direction of the natural healing process. As time progresses the mother can incorporate gentle post natal yoga practices to help with moving in that healing direction as well as recovering from the strains that pregnancy puts on the body.
Mandeep (pictured here) was cared for by Chaitanya with regular hot oil massage after her second birth . Her mother also came from India to cook her special easy to digest meals and to take care of her home and her eldest daughter while she recovered.
As birth has a huge impact on mama and baby you probably require some support in healing at this time! Chaitanya is able to assist in healing the impact the birth has had on your body and psyche, as well as helping you to connect deeply to the flow of energy that connects you and your new baby. This flow is often disrupted partially in the birth process, if things didnt go too smoothly, if there were interventions or if you felt like giving up at any time in the labor. Often women do not identify their births as being particularly traumatic, yet the impact of the birth is still held in the body. Working with Chaitanya to help release this subtle trauma and reestablish a great connection with the energy of the birth and your baby can be deeply healing and enriching. These sessions are very gentle and help reestablish the natural flows of energy and wellbeing in the body and whole woman.
Chaitanya is trained in the practices of Holistic Pelvic Care by renown pelvic healer Tami Lynn Kent. These practices are wonderful for post natal healing and recovering your own sacred ground after birth. They may involve internal (vaginal) assesment and healing, guided practices and breathing exercises to help you release any trauma from the birth and access your own powerful healing medicine - for you, your new baby and your whole family.
HEALING AFTER BIRTH AND C-SECTIONS

If you delivered your baby via a c-section you may require some healing also, Chaitanya is able to help you with healing your C-section scar so that it doesn't create troubles for you now and in the future. Healing your scars can help lessen the chances of absence of feeling, back pain, pain in the abdomen, pain with sex and other common post birth complaints. It is very important not to ignore this aspect of healing. If you have scars from tearing in your perineum, talk to Chaitanya about internal pelvic healing and how you can work with massage at home to help the healing progress.

Whether your baby came out of your belly or your vagina you would benefit from some internal healing from a skilled pelvic therapist. Chaitanya is trained in internal healing practices of Holistic Pelvic Care by Pelvic PT Tami Lynn Kent and offers these services in the Coffs Harbour region.
FAMILY YOGA CLASSES AT LALALAND MOONEE BEACH
If you're on the Coffs Coast you can come along to Family Yoga with Chaitanya and Frances Mercer at LalaLand Moonee Beach.
The class runs for about an hour each Thursday 11:30am we do a very gentle and inclusive practice where you can bring your baby and your other kids can come in and out (into the play area) while you get the nourishment you're dreaming of.
Classes are constructed to give the most healing benefit to post-natal mums and we all share a cup of herbal tea after the session.
